NY Fashion Week: DORÉ SS16 Fashion Show

Hello Fashionistas!

On Tuesday, I attended the DORÉ SS16 Fashion Show which was a new experience for me. I remember dreaming about attending a fashion show ever since I was old enough to walk in my mothers heels lol. This wasn't a runway, the models were standing still, sort of like an EXPO which allowed the crowd to actually admire the outfits on the models. I have to admit feeling bad for the models who were just standing there and being stared at for hours! But they did go on breaks for their outfit changes. For this collection, DORÉ incorporated a lot of floral prints and tulle. She is known for her couture custom gowns and targets the entertainment industry.

I had the opportunity of meeting Heidi Nazarudin, a successful blogger and a huge inspiration to me. I can only hope we can meet again in the future :)
I also had the opportunity of meeting Vera Wang. SCRATCH THAT, REWIND. I also had the opportunity of sharing an elevator with Vera Wang and COMPLETELY FROZE because I was so star stuck that I couldn't even say Hi -__-

Fashion week ends today :( but I am satisfied with the opportunities I was provided with this year. For those who are not aware, I only have 4 months blogging and I have accomplished so much in so little time! I can't wait to see what the future has in store for me.
